Due to the massive amount of rain we received, the performance of the play has been cancelled for tonight. There is a lot of free standing water in the school. The choir room is flooded. We are currently on for tomorrow’s performance.

Performance for the Madrigals at the First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek – 12-02-11. Call time is 11:15 am with the performance at 11:45 am. Formal wear. Done and on our way home by 12:00 pm hopefully.

Madrigals only: Our performance of the National Anthem for Pride & Spirit Night is tonight. Call time is 7:00 pm in the choir room with Madrigal shirts and jeans. Homecoming game is on Friday at 7:00 pm. Call time is 6:30 pm. Same dress code. Have your part learned…
Madrigals only: We need to be ready to sing at 7:30 p.m. so our call time is now 7:00 p.m. at Olio’s Restaurant. Dress is formal. Make sure you have all of your necessary accessories. Done by 8:00 p.m.
Well, as the title suggests, all classes are off to a good start. We have talented groups this year and I am expecting great things! We now have a date for the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the new Perfroming Arts Center. It will take place on October 24th from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. All students from the performing arts classes will be in attendance.
The returned letter was due last Friday, but no worries if you haven’t returned it as of yet. Please do so soon, though as I’m adding the grade to my gradebook.
Lastly, choir shirt money is due Spetember 30th. Each class has their own price. Please check with your students.
I simply cannot believe we’re at this time of year already. This doesn’t usually happen to me, but I’m seriously wondering where the time went! At any rate, Seniors, you need to make two of the four listed rehearsals below as well as make time for our rehearsal following the official graduation rehearsal on the 14th in order to perform at graduation. We practice AFTER the speeches. Make sure you accommodate the extra time in planning your day! Keep in mind that I also have to rehearse the band during that rehearsal too. The band rehearses before the speeches. All school rehearsals start at 11:00 a.m. Here are the five rehearsal dates:
