Inherent Ramblings and The Family 8:49 am
So, it’s been a while since I posted anything. Hmm. Let’s do some updates.
- Me: The choir program at SCCS is doing very well. This is a building year. I have quite a few talented young singers. I hope they will step up and lead the groups as they progress through their high school career. Concert is on October 29th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Audnausium (Gymatorium). Currently, I am working on a new missions program at Thornville – sovereign grace oriented gospel tracks with mini audio CDs containing a small recorded message from our Pastor. I have started my change of diet via my consultations with my allergist. I feel terrible. But looking at my sisters and seeing their improvement over the long haul, I’m optimistic. As a plus side, I’ve lost at least twelve pounds in one week. That in itself is uncommon but I’m happy with that.
- Andrea: She has received her assignment for her student teaching. She will be teaching in Grand Blanc, a rather well-off town south of us. We’re excited (the money saved in gas will be considerable). It really looks as if she will graduate this school year! That makes us ecstatic! She continues to have allergic reactions to almost anything that touches her skin. She sees the allergist on Thursday of next week. I’m hopeful, she’s in mourning
. - Rachel: She is doing very well in first grade. I can’t believe the homework they receive every week in class. It’s simple and she likes doing it but it’s quite a bit. I still think children at this age need to play. She is losing more teeth and is more than happy to show us all.
- Hannah: She is the only one of the family that is not in school. This bothers her some. She spends Tuesdays and Thursdays with her Grandma. She is growing and is not that much smaller than Rachel.
We’re doing fine. We wish we had more time/energy to spend with each other. It’s amazing to me how fast our days fly by.
